Tory Moore

My name is Tory Moore and I have been building products for a long time as an independent contractor under the business name of Electrodiva, and as a full time staff Product Design Director for multiple companies. For me, design has never been about making things look beautiful. Beautiful interfaces are a byproduct of solving the right problem.

Throughout my career, I've been drawn to the messy challenges where business goals, user needs, technical constraints, and organizational priorities don't naturally align. Those are the moments I enjoy most—bringing together different perspectives, uncovering the real problem, and helping teams find solutions that everyone can support.

Whether I'm creating a design system, defining an MVP, mentoring designers, or rethinking a complex workflow, my approach is the same: understand the problem deeply before designing the solution.

I've learned that some of the most impactful design work isn't visible in a polished mockup. It's building trust between teams, creating shared language between design and engineering, simplifying complexity, and helping organizations make better product decisions.

I believe the best design leaders aren't just advocates for users—they're translators between users, engineering, marketing, leadership, and the business. My role is to help those groups move in the same direction to create products that are useful, scalable, and meaningful.
